13th Annual Writing Retreat for Health Professionals
Sponsored by the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and the Permanente Journal, this week long retreat encourages individuals to pursue their writing in a communal environment that provides maximum space for personal exploration and growth. A group workshop session is held each morning. Afternoons are free for scheduled individual writing consultations with faculty members and for solitary writing, reflection and communion with the beauty of Taos. Evenings offer informal gatherings that include anything from viewing films to talks by guest writers.

For the fifth time, several hundred members of the medical community - students, residents, faculty, and doctors in practice - will gather for two days of invigoration, inspiration, learning, and networking with colleagues committed to patient-centered, compassionate care.
